For Healthcare and Senior Living Facilities
A Standing Notary Partnership for Your Facility
Consistent scheduling, credentialed service, and documentation your team can rely on.
How This Differs From a Single Visit
The hospital and care facility signings page describes the bedside service itself, written for a family arranging one visit or a single staff referral. This page describes something different, the standing account relationship a facility can establish for recurring need.
An administrator evaluating a vendor relationship is asking a different question than a family arranging one appointment. The question here is whether the same person will arrive reliably, whether scheduling has a named contact, and how the arrangement is invoiced.
What a Standing Partnership Includes
- A single point of contact rather than a general inquiry line
- Priority scheduling for facility requests within the partnership arrangement
- Consistent monthly invoicing rather than payment per visit
- The same credentialed, background screened notary for every visit rather than a rotating unknown vendor
Documents Typically Handled
- Advance directives and living wills
- Healthcare powers of attorney
- Property and financial powers of attorney
- Admission and financial documents requiring a notarized signature
Illini Notary and Signing Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The notary identifies the document and completes the notarial act, and does not determine which document a resident or patient needs, what it should say, or whether it accomplishes what the family intends.

In person coverage is the seven counties of Champaign, Piatt, Douglas, Vermilion, Ford, DeWitt, Macon, by appointment including evenings and weekends. Every visit is handled with the same discretion any bedside professional interaction requires, and staff are consulted on timing before the notary approaches a room.
A notary public must be satisfied that the signer is identified, is acting willingly, and appears to understand the act. If those conditions are not met, Illinois law requires the notary to decline. We cannot make a determination of capacity and we cannot advise on a document. Coordinate with the facility and, where appropriate, with the signer's attorney before the appointment.
